Blog entry numero uno

I've been known to write some pretty long emails on a number of topics. Lately, I've been writing a lot about our oh-so-pitiful forthcoming election between McCain ("a rock") and Obama ("a hard place"). Sooo, rather than putting so much effort into multiple emails wherein I say the same thing to a few different people with slightly different spins, I figured I'd consolidate. The only problem is that with email the recipient is pretty much obligated to read, and maybe even respond, to my musings. By shifting to a blog, I'm just about guaranteeing that no one will even read my rants, much less comment! Oh well, maybe it will be therapeutic...God knows I need it!
